 Wow the weeks are really flying by! It doesn't help that I was away most of last week I guess, business trip to London meant very little sewing time this week sadly

1. Make block #13 for the Modern City Scape - Done

3. Sew the Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along blocks for February & April - no progress

4. Work on the Hexie blocks - very little progress

5. Complete Dear Jane block E13 and finish row E - no progress

6. Sew the dropped sleeves blouse - no progress

This week I have managed only 3 days ...

 Another week gone... at least I've made a few blocks this time as well as prepping to make a blouse

1. Make block #12 for the Modern City Scape - Done

3. Sew the Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along blocks for February, March & April - Done For March only

4. Work on the Hexie blocks - cut more paper and fabric

5. Complete Dear Jane block E13 and finish row E - no progress

6. Pick my blouse pattern and fabric - Done and cut

This week I have managed 5 days of sewing keeping up with ...

The last week has flown by with the long Easter weekend. We had family and friends over so there has been no time to sew at all... Never mind, it was great to spend time together. Time to plan ahead for the week now and look at last week. 

1. Make block #11 for the Modern City Scape - finished

2. Make Birthday block #13 - no progress

3. Sew the Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along blocks for February & March - no progress

4. Complete 2 Hexie blocks - no progress

5. Complete Dear Jane block E13 and finish row E - still in progress ...

 I can't quite believe that the first quarter of the year is over and this is not even an April's fool... I hope that with lighter evenings there might be more time and energy to sew but equally I thinnk the month will be rather busy with lots of activities, a week long business trip etc so I am not sure how much time I'll manage to steal in the end...

Quilting

It seems that I have had a little more time for sewing this week, despite lots of other priorities too... Time for another list anyway

Time seems to go so fast with weeks flying by... I can't believe it is Tuesday again... Time to plan for a new week again

Another week when my head has been very very full with everything going on... more questions than answers at the moment really but hopefully we are moving in the right direction, future will tell, I hope it will be very soon... I managed to steal some very small amount of time to sew, not much to show for it though.

 I didn't manage to sew as much in February and I am already falling behind in some of my quilt-along but let's try to catch up and keep going...

Quilting

1. Dear Jane - hoping to finish row E... all the blocks are cut now.

 A very very busy week again but I have at least stollen a few moments to sew... when I had some energy for it. We also had a group of girls for a sleepover for my youngest's birthday party while my eldest travelled abroad by himself for the week-end for the first time. So let's say there was not much space in my head for much else...

 The last week has been a real rollercoaster for our family, which partly explained why I am so late posting for this week and also why I hardly achieved anything from my last list... Motivation has been pretty low and time has run away from me. At least I have forced myself to exercice more again to help empty my head...

1. Make block #5 for the Modern City Scape - done and blogged. I even managed to fix 3 more mistakes in that first row...

 Time flies, whether we're having fun or not. I can't quite believe that January is over already! I'm happy that I have managed to spend some sewing time throughout the month, much more than I anticipated actually.

2. Sew the internal pockets and the body lining pieces of my Forester coat  - done

3. Sew the next Birthday block - done

  I failed miserably on my December list since I didn't touch anything at all... Maybe the start of a new year will finally give me some energy and motivation to pick up a project and do something with it...

Quilting

1. Dear Jane - hoping to finish row E ... all the blocks are cut now.

 Another week gone by... there is some work done on our kitchen this week (getting part of the walls down to remove the tiles and changing the worktop and splash backs) so we had to empty all the cabinets at the week-end, not the most fun activity, which in turn has taken quite some time away from my sewing machine!

Looking at last week's list, I progressed on a few projects:

1. Make the first 3 blocks for the Modern City Scape - first 2 completed and blogged

2. Sew the front lining pieces of my Forester coat with the ...

Wow I can't believe it's been a week already! We've had a different one this week with much more snow that we usually get and very cold temperatures which means the snow has kept for 4 days and the kids were off school from last Wednesday until this Monday. Quieter weekend too as a result, which was nice after all. I have progressed a bit in some of projects too

1. Print and cut the Stitch Banner paper pattern - done

2. Sew the front piece of my Forester coat that I unpicked in December and recut at the week-end - done

3. Sew the first 2 Birthday blocks - done and blogged 

This is my first time linking to Carol's To Do Tuesday Linky party, as I am trying to find time and motivation to sew more often.

 I have been trying for a couple of years and I haven't yet manage to graduate, and to be perfectly honest, I doubt this year will be THE year but why not trying or at least making some sort of progress on a few projects...

Plenty plenty to finish up and probably not enough time to finish them... I anticipate this year will see some major changes again which will take away sewing time/energy or motivation but never mind, let's write THE list again and maybe try to finally cross a few over (either from the UFO list or from the planned projects) and to link up to Fettle Those Finishes, edition 2024!
